Save or Cancel launches a new book titled Viața zidurilor în spațiul public (The Life of Walls in Public Space)

Save or Cancel Publishing House continues its research, mapping and publication of the street art phenomenon in Romania with a new volume entitled “Viața zidurilor în spațiul public” (“The Life of Walls in Public Space”).

The editorial project proposes a carefully curated and updated collection of recent urban culture in Romania, presenting over 80 of the most significant street art works, documented photographically and through interviews with local artists such as Aeul, CoonOne, Homeboy LDJ, Irlo, Mser, Ocu and Kero, Ortaku, Cat Patrata, Sandi, Sweet Damage Crew and international visitors such as Aito Kitazaki (Japan), Faunagraphic (UK), iZZY iZVNE (Moldova), Juan Jose Surace (Argentina), NSN997 (Italy), Okudart (Spain), Orakle and Atmo (Germany), Sr Papa Chango (Mexico) or Vhils (Portugal) plus many others.

In the first part of the book, street art and urban exploration enthusiasts will discover two extended interviews with Tobias Barenthin Lindblad (editor and lecturer Dokument Press – Sweden) and artist Jan Kalab (Czech Republic). Both began their careers many years ago as graffiti artists and have evolved with the movement, witnessing and observing many of the interesting things they have recounted at length in the pages of the book.

The new publication invites readers to explore cities through art exhibited in public space, revealing in its 100 pages the works of over 50 artists, located in 13 cities in Romania.
