Remus Octavian Câmpean, (uses the artistic acronym ROC, born on 22 January 1974 in Botosani, lives in Cluj-Napoca) is a poet, novelist and drama writer. As professional background, he is a PhD statistician. As a visual artist and poet, ROC is exploring short poetry combined with hand made graphics augmented through generative NNT algorithms.
ROC started to write poetry in 2001. His first poetry volume, “Stări și Călătorii” [Feelings and Journeys] was published by Viaţa Creștină Publishing House. He started to write novels in 2018; his first novel “Abandon” [Abandonment], was published by Eikon Publishing House. In 2019, he continued his literary activity by publishing the volume of poems “Dezghețul luminii” [Thaw of the Light], Eikon Publishing House. The same year, he coordinated the poetry anthology “Polifonii pe luciu de oglindă” [Polyphony on the mirror], published at the Școala Ardeleană Publishing House.
In 2020, he has published a drama-story for children, Durdulucă în Strămoșia Blajinilor, Libris Publishig House.
