Swiss DJ and producer Christophe ‘Daze’ Dasen, professionally known as Plastique De Rêve, has recently unveiled a comprehensive digital album named “Zombie Radio.” This album showcases a treasure trove of previously unreleased tracks and instrumentals from the 1980s EBM/industrial band, DEO CADAVER, available on Bandcamp.
The album boasts a genuine vintage concept, immersing us in the world of a decaying radio, aptly named the “Zombie Radio.” This radio, buried halfway in a mystical voodoo swamp, suddenly springs back to life through an enigmatic, unseen force. It resurrects the music of DEO CADAVER from a bygone era. The tracks traverse through different points in space-time, providing glimpses into the band’s evolution and the various influences that shaped their six-year journey.
The tracks are thoughtfully arranged chronologically, spanning from 1987 to 1993, in accordance with their respective creation dates. To truly appreciate the album’s nuances, listeners are encouraged to explore the Zombie Radio‘s channel tuning across the entire playlist, as the band’s equipment, sound, and inspirations underwent substantial transformations over time.
